Wildlife & Field Photography

Cori Godfrey is an amateur wildlife and travel photographer, avid hiker and backpacker, and California naturalist who has traveled to more than fifty countries and all seven continents. After a career in tech marketing, she is increasingly focused on using photography to support wildlife conservation and the people working to protect wild places.

Most comfortable outdoors, Cori is happy hiking long distances, camping in the backcountry, waking before sunrise, and working in wet, muddy, cold, hot, or otherwise uncomfortable conditions to get the shot. She photographs wildlife as it is, without staging or altering the natural environment, and believes wild animals belong in the wild.

As she continues to build her portfolio, Cori is available to volunteer her photography skills with conservation organizations, wildlife researchers, field teams, expeditions, and other collaborations that could benefit from strong visual documentation. She is open to traveling anywhere in the world, and particularly interested in opportunities that involve working alongside researchers and conservationists in the field.
